About Me

I’d like to present myself as a well organized, super mom who has it all together...

...but the truth is I am a little bit of that and a whole lot of not that.

I am married with four kids, I homeschool, I teach English at a co-op to 9th and 10th graders, and I run a photography business. I somehow get my laundry done, and kind of keep my house in a liveable state, and I do manage to feed everyone… I may not be perfect, but there is a whole lot of love floating around my messy house, and I am always up for company and coffee.

History

I graduated in Sociology at LSU in 2006, got married in 2007 (a month later) and landed my first big girl job as a Juvenile Probation Officer about 4 months later (I still don’t really know why they hired me). I was pretty bad at that job, so I transferred to teaching Middle School English for a stint before having all of the children. I now have a 12, 8, 6, and 4 year old.

I figured out that I enjoyed photography right before my 3rd child was born in 2016. I bought myself a little rebel camera to take photos of my kids and realized I had a knack for it. Shortly after that, my business was born. I have found a great love in taking photos, but even more so in meeting with my clients face to face to show them their images, and helping them hang their images on the wall, or create a box full of their favorites!
